... i completely agree that he shouldn't play. the league is for fun and to help promote players in the game. its not about winning at all. if he wants to play seriously than he should join a different league or practice on his own time. nothing is stopping him from "being good and excelling" and blaming the league for trying to make sure that all the kids are having fun, not just the best one, is what is fucked up... |

Well yeah it's the league's job to make it fun for all, but instead of banning the kid they could figure out another way. The kid is everybody's elses age, but because his skill is so far in advance he's not allowed to play? I have a cousin who plays soccer in syracuse, and this kid is fucking good. So good, that at the age of 10 years old, he was playing with adults becuase he shoots that good, he's that fast, and he could compete. HOWEVER, he was still able to play in a 10 and under league. Even if he fucked up everyone on the ice, they didn't turn him away for being the best. he did it on his own time, AND played in leagues. If he was going to play in a league far beyond his age, he wouldn't be able to. there are certain leagues and at this kids age he would only be able to make the one he was IN. U16, U18, U10, etc. He'd have to wait two years to do anything. |
