This is something Ive given serious thought to, and we have a few options. 1) I can take donations for FTC revival, and create the server. The only thing is, I would need someone to run it. Plays very often, knows how to use computers (can learn FTP/admin mods), and has free time on a regular basis, not just during the summer) I dont know FTC well enough to know if there are any RELIABLE candidates for this, but I figured id throw this post out anyway. 2) We can scrap surf, and take donations (less than option 1) and I can cover the rest of FTC. This means a lot changes, but a lot stays the same. 3) Someone else makes another FT server 4) Nothing I need input, I need to know if people can donate time and or money, and dont say you can if you "might" be able to. This will take some serious dedication to fill Alex's shoes, and I cant do it alone. People that are willing to help, i mean SERIOUSLY help, come to me on FT ventrilo, or call me on the phone. I will not get your message otherwise. Hollar at me people. -krem |

Another option (kinda including #3) is SHIT SON's server that he's taking opinions on, but I honestly think we should revive FTC. I miss the good times

I'm glad to see you around Krem, and even more, more interested in helping than others who have faded(much like myself) I feel that by October, everyone will be drained from school and will need a sweet release, so come that time everyone will give up there morals and say 'I need fishtankclassic to make me feel better', so I think for the best results, timing is key Shit Son said he is looking for something to do to his server, however I don't think he was leaning anywhere near Office. so we should think about whatever he needs to do, and help him get that up to get MOAR traffic. I'm looking to get my own paypal account, so I'll try and donate something as well. I'm finally getting to the age where I can make my own decisions  As for needing input, how big is our ventrillo server, because I think we should have a clan meeting, so we can all get on, put aside our stupid egos, and just talk about whats best, and unite in a way. because posting about it isn't enough. we need to talk cumulatively, vent seems like the easiest thing. |

Whoever said something about the 210 dollars, that was more than 6 months ago now, and its already time for me to rally as many people as I can to help with surf. Renewing the server is hard, especially making some sort of donation campaign for the server every 6 months. I dont know which server brings more FT enjoyment but it would take priority unless anyone has a better idea. Either way, I was just tossing out options to see where people are at, and regardless, Ive put the last of the money I have right now into renewing surf for the next 3 weeks at which time I dont have enough to pay for it. Im open to options and ideas like I said. |
