Ah what a kind and benevolent God we must have to allow us to drink AND blow things up all at the same tiime. It's the way our founding fathers would want it. So get out there people, get a few drinks in you, and blow some shit up. And if you can't score any fireworks, make some. I hear 2 L bottles filled with gasoline is a relatively safe and inexpensive way to make a firework.

there's 2 ways i know of to make bottle bombs (improvised fireworks

).

fill a 2L bottle 1/4 of the way with water. throw in some dry ice and screw the bottle shut. you don't have a lot of time before it blows so throw it right away.

Or get some pool filter cleaner (available at any spa/pool store. make sure it has hydrochloric acid in it). Put that in the bottle first, then throw in a big peace of tightly wrapped aluminum foil and screw the top on. You'll have anywhere from 45 seconds - 3 minutes before it blows (depending on how much acid is in the filter cleaner.) The pool filter cleaner itself is pretty caustic, so be careful if you decide to use this method.

These things are friggen loud (louder than a gun shot) so keep that in mind if you decide to make your own "fireworks"
