Post em up. My friends and I pledge to watch one every friday night until summer. We started last week with The Shining (REDRUM REDRUM) and plan to watch Friday the 13th this friday (after we get home from Quantum of Solace, of course). Next week is The Exorcist, but after that we've got nothing. So i need your suggestions. When i asked for Unintentional comedy, we found a hit with Braindead, so i expect another solid list of good movies. | ||

Stephen King's IT used to scare the shit out of me, creepy. I tripped on shrooms to 1408  fucking scariest movie ever on Shrooms. HEY!! there's a thought, watch all of these shitty movies on Shrooms. |

Halloween 1 and 2 Friday the 13th (up to the third one) Saw (first one is the only good one) Night of the Living Dead (not really scary, but one of the best scary movies of all time)(1968) Day of the Dead (Romero's version, not the new one)(1985) Dawn of the Dead (Romero's)(1978) 28 Days later (my favorite horror flick) 28 Weeks Later (very well done) The Evil Dead series (1 and 3 or 2 and 3, since 1 and 2 are the same movie) And Peter Jackson's Braindead is awesome, one of my favorite zombie films, it's wicked funny. Pretty much my list, but let me edit a few things. First off, nothing related to Saw or any movie like Saw. It is bad. Secondly, Evil Dead is a scary movie. Evil Dead 2 and Army of Darkness (#3 of series) are those intentionally unintentional scary movies you'd like. Third, the remake of Dawn of the Dead is not bad; I could see you really enjoying it, Emer. Fourth, add The Hills Have Eyes, because it is fucking B.A. Let me vouch 28 Days and 28 Weeks, in that order. Great movies. 28 Days is the best horror movie of all time. Add the 1966 Omen with Gregory Peck. Scariest fucking movie I've ever seen. My skin still crawls at the beginning of that movie. Gregory Peck is also one of the best actors in the last half century. Additional Good Movies: 1. Event Horizon with Sam Neill 2. Pet Semetary (Ya don't want to go dowwwn that rooad. Lotta histry on that rooad. True South Park fans rejoice). 3. Silence of the Lambs (How did no one suggest this?) 4. The Exorcist (If you're looking for religious scary, watch the Omen before this one) 5. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (The acting, it's HORRIBLE!!!! AHHH!!!!) 6. Alien |
