Hello gentlemen,

I realize some of you may not know me and others might have forgotten me. An introduction is most certainly in order.

My history with Fish Tank:
My name is Rob, I originally started playing with Fish Tank on our surf servers back in early 2005. I stayed there exclusively only joining our CAL Team at some point but never playing much Office (that changed around 2007). I was at one point an OP to the Surf Server, and a head admin on these here forums, helping Kremit with some backups/site management.

The unpleasant bit came right before I left. I figure I should introduce all the baggage that comes with me: it was april fool's day and I saw that most websites (such as google, facepunch) were making April Fools jokes. Most of them were coded into the website, and when I approached Kremit about the idea we knew that we couldn't do much with the website outside of changing the website theme to hot pink, and idea which in retrospect would have been better. I ended up made a fake account on here claiming to be a player that was abused by an admin "bleek" with racist and anti-semetic rants. I was 16-17 and stupid, thinking it would be funny to trick my online friends into thinking I went crazy/rogue. Needless to say, the whole thing went bad and people reacted quickly and badly calling me a racist. I called the joke of came clear but some people didn't, as it was their right, to let something like that go. Soon after that I decided to stop playing CSS instead of apologizing and trying to make things better between the couple of members who were upset with me.

That was 5 years ago. I was a junior in High School at the time.

The Man behind the username:

Like I said, my name is Rob. I am an immigrant, originally from Poland. I came to the States, specifically New York City, when I was 12 years old and lived in Project-like housing for a a great majority of my early years here. I am finishing up my Bachelor's Degree in Physics this semester, and am in the middle of applying to PhD programs in physics which I plan to start next fall.

On the side, I work as a debate/acting coach in a High School in queens.

Why I'm back:
I always liked CS, but I realized I liked it in a large part because of who I got to play with. When CS:GO came out I was excited to get back in. I played on a server and it sucked. It was populated but missing something. It didn't take me long to figure out what it didn't have was Nostie, Emerican, Rusty, Kddude, Wildcard, Kremit, BubbleGoose, etc. I know it may sound stupid and mopy, but I do value playing with you guys. I always have.

That's why I'm back. Fuck me gently Fish Tank <3

P.S. Alex if you read this: For the life of me I cannot remember WHY we did this, if you remember please tell me. But, I have a very distinct memory of us being on a server with a peer, throwing grenades at our feet and making our bodies fall long distances. We did that for a while. Was that for something? I just remember the grenades but not why we did it.
