Surf Server Maintenance
Rusty, Tue Jul 24 2012, 06:47PMSurf will be down today for an overhaul of the server. Once it goes down, expect at least a couple hours of down time, This will be starting right around 4pm today.
We're switching over from sourcemod (fail) to mani (win). We will be able to setup better admin lists, better control over adverts and you'll be able to nominate and votemap a specific list of maps, which is more than the cycle.
Also will be bringing back vote kick and vote ban for those times admins are not around to help.
There are probably other things that will be better as well (ma_explode). Also going to be taking down most of the great rivers and japans. Putting up the better surf_leet map and adding a fixed surf_meh_chopper! And some new ones!!!

Funhouse is on the server, but since the nominate doesn't work how we want it to, only admins can switch to it. With this change to mani, it should be fixed!

Still don't have admin. I took a look at the client.txt, and you have me in there. I just don't seem to be assigned to any group (server op, admin, or basic)
EDIT: I believe I fixed it. Need to restart the server to be sure, but I'm not doing that any time soon, since there are 9 people on there...

I think there's an ma_clientupdate command that refreshes the clients.txt db. But yeah you're right I definitely logged on, added you to clients.txt, made a new admin group, then forgot to add you to it.

Yeah, my fix worked. I took the liberty of making myself server op (seems to make sense since I have access to the server? If anyone feels that's too high, feel free to downgrade me. It's worth mentioning that I took out 3 years of the frustration of not having a server to admin out on Compost.
