Super down for a rerun. I think we all have some old connections to plan something ahead of time, on an updated game, or even outdated, for all of us to do an event on. I would look forward to that very much

EDIT: why don't we make this the Iraq/ war story thread. If you have a movie of this topic, post it.
The War In Iraq: A Soldiers Perspective - Brought to you by Break.com Video Search . he did a good job with the animations imo Road Side Bomb Explodes In Front of SUV - Brought to you by Break.com Video Search . Another amazing movie. What those army commercials don't show you is that people actually fire back at you, you're not just picking off targets 300 meters away, these people have been fighting all their lives and they are tough as nails. wow, that deep. Im almost speechless. Make you think about things. All i could think about was my freind Matt Polumbo, who is in Iraq right now. Been there for 9 months. 3more months until he gets two weeks leave. I hope hes ok. Good find toaster, good find. EDIT: After 6 months in Iraq he got two weeks leave. I saw him the last day before he had to go back. He showed me pictures he took of the country. Its just like you see in the movie Black Hawk Down. And its very well described in the first movie angry posted. He also showed me pictures of the tanks and APC's and this big fuckin truck thing with a crane, and two 50-cal's monuted on it. has 12 tires that are 5 feet high. He showed me pictures of actual terrorist's captured. And he showed me the one he captured. He used to do this thing to ppl who pissed him off... It was called the Polumbian Death Grip. He got me in it one time and it hurt, couldnt breathe, and i couldnt get out. When he told me he used it on one of the disarmed terrorists i jumped for joy and was honored to be put in it lol. That first video was really cool. Is that like, a home made series, or just one thing?

I'm not sure kd. The description says it was a the soldier who made this, But the quality of the narration and cartoon lead me to believe that is was proffesionally done. I know the discovery military channel has a war diary show, but this doesnt seem to fit in with that.

If I remember right, the first video was done professionally for a soldier that was wounded by an IED and had come home. It was his story about what happened, and I believe there is a couple more out there from the same soldier. But I may be thinking of a different vid. Edited Fri May 04 2007, 04:29AM

fucking awesome movie. The second one didnt do justice to me, idk why. car bombs are car bombs. But the first one just scares the shit out of me and sends a tingle down my back. Its very professional, and well written(from the real story into that movie), and VERY well illustrated. I felt that the cartoon feel made it so much cooler with how it was made. I wont get into the war and everything, because my views have changed and are still on both sides of the fence, but the first one was an eyeopener and a nuisance both. I mean, this guy was just going on a threat, most people are stationed in areas where death rate is high, and your chance of survival is very limited... this is a "noob" compared to the jobs that others get... Still fucking crazy though. |
