Super down for a rerun. I think we all have some old connections to plan something ahead of time, on an updated game, or even outdated, for all of us to do an event on. I would look forward to that very much

Ok so most of you prolly dont know this but im a huge fan of motocross. I have a dirtbike myself. Honda XR200x. Its a 4-Stroke bike made for hard trails. Most pro motocross now all use 4-stroke bikes asside from the original 2-stroke. (4stroke uses regualr gas while 2stroke requires perfect mixing of oil and gas). Anywho, ive been riding for years on the trails and will very very soon sell my bike, buy a bigger one, prolly a 250 or 450, and get to the ramps. I wanna ride some tracks and get some big air. My inspiration and a hero is a young legend, Travis Pastrana. He was landing huge jumps at twelve years old. He even landed a 207 foot jump at the age of 14. Talk about Evil Kineval. He was also the first person to ever land a double backflip at the X-Games. And i believe still one of the only ppl to even land it. This movie is a tribute to my personal hero. I made it using Limewire (for donwloading movies), Allok Video splitter, and Sony Vegas. I want you all to experience a legend. Enjoy. In case u didnt know what Eack Studio's was.. My last name is Eack. Its german. These are some pics of me and my bike. -[link]- -[link]- -[link]- -[link]- Edited Wed Jan 24 2007, 05:26PM | ||

first off, nicely done! i thought the whole video flowed well from start to finish. i didn't get bored once, and that's saying a lot for my ADD ass. second, that guy is awesome! he is like an acrobat on that thing. total control of the bike. i remember one day i was flipping through channels with my roommate and i was like, "hmm, x-games". we turned it on and he was JUST getting lined up for that double backflip. he fucking landed it and we were like, "did he just do 2 backflips on a bike?". we didn't know it had never been done before until the announcers were saying shit and he runs up on the hill and starts cheering. we were like wtf? so a bit of luck there that i actually got to see it live on TV. could you post some more info about: -what you used to make this vid -where you got the footage from -more links to this guy -other stuff!? good work man! |

Travis pastrana is da man! Not only does he do moto-x, but this year he started rally racing... and he won against some hardcore english dude. Man what I would give just to be in one rally race. I love everything that is offroading (snowmobiling, dune buggies, all that stuff). I even used hammer to draw up some blue prints of my own off-road gokart I'm planning to build this summer. |

Son of a.... That was my post above. Apparantly I wasn't paying attention and typed in the wrong password to login. Stupid sleep deprivation. I'm posting it again now... Awesome job on the video Glitch!! It was awesome. Travis is the freaking man. I watched all of x-games because I'm an addict. LOLs!! I haven't missed a summer or winter x-games since they started. My TiVo is full of everything that is televised until I can get a chance to watch it. I remember watching as ESPN interviewed his Mom who was in tears after he came to her and told her he loved her right before he went to try the double backflip. That guy is absolutely, freaking nuts. And I love watching it. LOL!! X-games was what led me to buy my crotch rocket two years ago. That gave me so much respect for what people like Travis do on their bikes because there is no protection if shit goes bad. Anyways, great job on the video Glitch!! |

Wildcard23 wrote ... Son of a.... That was my post above. Apparantly I wasn't paying attention and typed in the wrong password to login. Stupid sleep deprivation. I'm posting it again now... Anyways, great job on the video Glitch!! great job wild lol. Anywayz.... The program i used is called Sony Vegas Movie Studio. I use a trial version over an over because im cheap.. but it really works wonders. -[link]- Thats the link to one of the programs. Second, i used regular gay old Limewire, typed in Travis Pastrana, and got like a million movies. I just downloaded random movies and took clips from the best ones i saw and just compiled then together. Added a great song, (Open you eyes, by Guano Apes), added a cool intro, slow motion ending and shit. It was simple really. Took me a few hours. Thirdly, i used Allok Video Splitter. It let me split 7 minute clips of awsoem stunts and let me grab certain sections of it that i wanted. Instead of putting the 7 minute movie in Sony Vegas and cutting it in there i just uploaded the already cut version to it. Much easier and less of a hassel. Then i just click make movie after i was done, and waited about 1 hour and it was done. Uploaded it to youtube and yay!. Most of these clips were in quite a few movies that i seen. So it is similar to some. But i feel great about it because i added my own lil thing to it. And put that AWSOME double backflip on there. I tried to put him doing his patented "Lazy Boy" move and his Lazy Boy Backflip but the video file was corrupted and i couldnt put it in. As well as his Superflip. SUPERFLIP IS SO COOL LOL. Anywayz.. hope this stuff helped ya out when u wanna make ur own thing. |

I deleted you previous post, wild. My cousin was really into motocross, so much so that when he would've turned 16 he would've been pro. He crashed...hard. He broke his back in 3 places and can't walk anymore...just putting that out there |
