This is a really hard post to write. I don't really know the best way to word this and i dont want to drag it out so I'm just gonna say it. As of August 12, 2008 FT Classic will cease to exist. There are many factors that are apparent reasons, most of which the community have discussed and threads made, so i will not bore anyone and repeat them. There is one last reason, one that has been growing slowly for a long time and only mentioned a long time ago..... by fetus.... Yeah everyone noticed that FTC was done in players srsly, but I mean, surf has been through this even longer before, it shouldn't be hard to come back. Not really surprised by this thread, actually, just a matter of time, GG for now (I hope, would love to keep playing with tons of people every weekend at least, maybe every night like it was). | ||

R.I.P. I know that even though people have stopped playing CSS so much we are still tight as a community on the forums and such...for all of those who have xbox live add me as a friend...so more memories can grow from here...stripedpimp is my handle I miss all of the good old days but new times it seems are here to stay...Peace and love to all and much respect to those who have run the server for so long Jesus |

This thread would have said "Surf will be down too... not just Fish Tank classic." GAWD!!! And I actually thought of this the other night... I was brainstorming to try and figure out what our problem was... but I realized it was somewhat people leaving, somewhat summer, somewhat our internal nasty issues that get broadcast within the tank, but also our strict nomination policy. It's not a problem becuase we want a good community base. It's just bad that 60% of the people who play on FTC, haven't even registered on the forums... I say, that if we ever get funds together to have it again, we get more clan members within the tank. Whether we grandfather in good regulars like 1337surgeon and Aggie, or we change our policies, or whatever. We need more people to have a community... This is a sad, sad day... |

once I get paid, I'll willingly chip in a few bucks here and there. If it is about funds, I can help with what I can. I mean, we are a community, and no matter what, even though I don't play FTC, I'll gladly help you guys out if I can! And everyone has to remember that we are in fact a community. I mean, how many posts on this forum is actually about in game shit? Not man, maybe a little abuse here, little ragequit there, but we're still always here, just shooting the shit. |

Shit this sucks. It's too bad that I've only started playing regularly on FTC this month really. It's been great though, definitely only of the best vanilla CSS servers (as in, not surf, rpg, dm, or whater) I've been a regular to in my 4 years of CSS. It sucks to see it go... |
