If i go to a server and the only weapons is knives, or shotguns, after a few rounds i may leave and not come back that night-or ever for that matter. Steel, you should set this up for a night when you will definitely be there. I don't mind scheduling to kick off scripts or being there in person to en/disable shotties but last time I "hosted" it I got all the whining from people not able to use what they wanted. Also, it may be worthwhile to do all pistols in addition to shotguns--almost everyone has a favorite pistol they don't mind using. Also, it should be 30 minutes at the most. Last time it went for about 30 minutes and everyone (myself included) had gotten tired of it. Maybe schedule it to Saturday if you'll be available? |

Ermm ok, let's clarify. Shotties, pistols, knives and nades This weekend I cannot give any guarantees as I have Jewish holidays Thirty minutes is legitimate also a server message every 5 minutes (6 messages total) to basically say that it is currently shotty night and normal weapon limitations will be enabled at 10:30PM so people don't get the wrong impression. Omni, if you join a 24/7 Office server are you seriously expecting to be playing versus CAL-M people?? I mean especially considering the AWP is disabled, don't you think that the people coming to play are coming to have a good time and kick some ass rather than to do smoke mid rush cat strats? Alex, if you want me present to deal with the script as well as inform regulars and randoms alike of the details of the "event" then possibly next week would be better for me but not the Friday as I have work until 11PM unless we do a "midnight shotty frenzy" |
