Bought the budget card EVGA GeForce 9600GT 512mb 256-bit GDDR3. I dont care who tries to knock this card... cuz you cant. I was not expecting it to perform as well as it is. I right off the bat downloaded EVGA's Precision Software, upped the fan speed to 80% throttle, and OC'd it from 650mhz to 700mhz (KO edition). Its running CSS at 1440x900res, max settings, 16xQAA and 16x AF, at 120+fps. CoD4 at the same thing, all maxed out with an average of 50+fps. CoC3 ultra high settings with 1440x900 and max AA and AF, runs smoooooth. $150 and i have a card that can play any game out today. Crysis runs pretty good off this card as well. High settings @ 1440x900 running around 30+fps. The picture quality is awsome as well. WAAAAY better then my previous one. BTW, i upgraded from a 7600GT 256mb 128-bit GDDR3 |

At the price, it's a great deal, and this cat is happy.. Grats, bro.. I'm thinking of doing the upgrade soon, but I don't want to drop on a vid card.. Too expensive. |

Well with my 8600GT 512MB i pull off 250+fps with my CEVO FPS config @ 1680x1050 resolution but i capped it at 101fps. I'm going to a LAN on June28th and if my team wins I get an 8800GTS.. That will easily rock your 9600gt But good shit for the price.. |

My friend is buying me one of those cards fo free. And yea, My OTHER friend made his own comp for gaming nad he has an 8800 GTS and easily gets over 250 FPS. |
