lol glitch thanks. Ya i know the Certified shit is bull thats why i added that i brought my brother in law to check it out too. I hate the look of civics though and i would keep it stock because at the end of the day its still a civic you know? You can put a B16D engine in it if you want but what the fuck is the point you know? Its still a short wheel base and not wide enough to be stable at high speeds. Like i said ill be taking it to the track on weekends if i get the skyline. Thanks for the advice though, it is helping in my decision |

Dude definitely the Civic. I like Skylines, but I also like Civics. No, I'm not gay. I just like cars that you can buy and beat the shit out of until you're rich enough to spend it on something nice. | ||

Your like his twin, with the whole turbo talk and the track thing. But its ok, i was the same way... when your young and getting your first car, its all about the pony's. But in reality its not. Judging by how your talking, your letting the speedometer make the decisions for you. When in reality, if all you have saved up is 2k, then you arent "well off" when it comes to money. Plz dude, dont make the same mistake my friend did. Dont blow all your money on something that can be easily replaced later on. Dont buy a money pit. Because you need to understand that your spending 3500 more on something with "more things in it." Not to mention its 5 years older. Parts are harder to get, parts are more expensive, and with more under the hood, there is more to go wrong. Make a smart choice. well i was supposed to have more but my appointment got moved up so by next week ill only have 2k. thats why. If i was to wait another couple of months i could easily pay it off in full. Looks like i may just take the civic, drive it until i have enough saved up to just get my dream car the RX7 instead. Thanks for the Advice Glitcha And ya.. that 20B does absolutely rape.. Especially once you slap on the TT. My buddy has one pushing 500hp at i believe 10 PSI. And those things take insane amounts of boost. <3 the 20B |

When my friend didnt listen to me the first time and fucked up... and lost out on 3k.. i wasnt mad at him. Its a lesson he learned like everyone else. I only got mad when he didnt listen and repeated that mistake 2 more times. But i love you for being a fellow rotary lover. If you want to save for a brand new car later on, save for the 2010 RX-8 with the new 16X Rotary Engine. Its a good chance the RX-8 is getting it, and not a concept car.
There shooting to make it push 300hp stock with no turbos. Its also lighter, more fuel efficient, holds the same 9k RPM redline, aluminum housing, and man its just bad ass. Now mod the shit out of that and i bet you could hit 450+hp. Edited Tue Apr 22 2008, 08:37PM |

ya phail i'm not sayin the skyline can't be fast..but for what it sounds like your looking for.. i'd still say the honda.. cause your friend may have one he's selling for 7500.. but that is no 93 stock skyline that he didn't put any money into.. he put alot of money into it to make it fast which is a whole other discussion.. | ||
