if you're mad at someone on a cold day put bologna all over their car, if it goes right, when they pull it off they will either pull off the paint....oor they will have to scrape them all off , scratching the car also. on the nicer side......dead bugs from driving chip the hell out of your hood and front bumper if you let it sit. They have this acid in them that eats the paint. |

Play a sport. I don't care how overweight or out of shape you are, as long as you show you are determined, people will help you out. You don't need to go to a huge expensive college to get a great education. Many community colleges offer the same education, and you can graduate in 2 years. This means you save a TON of money, especially if you don't have to pay for room and board. Once you graduate, many com. colleges have transfer programs to more well know colleges and even offer discounted tuition! So you can graduate with a bachelors degree that says you went to *place major college name here*! Avoid online courses/schools at all costs. Doesn't matter how strong your willpower is, you will always fail them the first time around. If you're smoking with friends and you didn't have to match bowls, or "pitch in," never complain about not getting high, no matter how shitty the weed is. I knew a girl (friend's girlfriend) who did this even when I had hedes and she didn't even contribute once. We got rid of her real quick... Edited Mon Apr 07 2008, 02:05AM |

Get a fucking money clip.Like..NOW. - If you have a favourite sport, make sure you have your fav teams jersey. - A glass of warm milk can help you sleep. - Using your cell phone while it is plugged in is bad (Just was told this) they can explode and actually kill you. - Egging someones house with white siding fucks it up. -Common sense, but you would be suprised at how many people think windows completely shatter like portreyed in the movies. - Never be scared or embarrassed to consult your doctor, everything is confidential. - Even if its small and not expensive, make a list of a couple things you REALLY want to do in your life. Then make sure you do them, never look back. - If you put pans into dishwashers, the dishwasher will bake the left over cooked food to the pan and make is super difficult to wash. - Mentos are bad for you, if they make pop explode, you probably shouldn't eat them. - when going on a camping/ nature trip, bring non-paricables(Cant spell) incase of emergency. And never have glass cutlery. - If you are out of jackets and things to keep you warm, paper makes for a decent insulator, so stuff your jacket full if in need. - Watch your step on steep hikes, if people are below you a tumbling rock can get some one killed, my sister almost died from a foot long rock tumbling a metre away from her head. - When lost in the winter, you may think, *Why golly Gee am I ever thirsty!*, dont melt it in your mouth. Melting snow in your mouth takes away from heat, and uses more energy that you will need. - Also when lost in the wilderness, anytime, anywhere. If you think you may be there for a while, Make a snowman or a stick figure to talk to. It will help keep you sane, however silly it may sound. - Voltage isn't always what kills you, the danger is in the Amps. - (In Canada) Having a loaded weapon leaning against a vehicle or inside a rifle holder on a quad is a no-no, the Conservation officers can take your vehicle from you. - When stopped by the police only open your window about 1/3 the way, to avoid them leaning over to take a whiff of your car. If they ask you to step out of the vehicle, remove your keys from the ignition, place them in your pocket, roll all the windows up, get out and lock you car doors. Make sure you get out in a manner that the officer cant just lean in. - I dont care if you are the schools stupidest student, or the smartest, take a civil rights or law class. Learn your rights as a citizen, make sure you know the difference from a legal and illegal search, make sure you know if the cops have probable cause. - Oatmeal/Porage is a great protein filled breakfast. - in a harsh dense cold environment, cover your mouth, the cold air is bad for your lungs. - When doing something phisically exerting, keep hydrated, the water helps lubricate your muscles and will help avoid sore muscles and cramps/pulls. - Go out of your way to help some one in need if you can ( and within reason). Opening a door or helping an elderly woman carry her groceries to her car can make their day. - Most of our parents were brought up in a generation where they had to address their elders and Mr. Mrs., Sir. Mam. If you can, do it. You will come across as much more respectable. - Always keep a pair of "work/play" clothes at home, you ddont want to ruin your nice threads. - Don't expect to be good at things right away, and no "Practice does NOT make perfect" It makes for better. Remember that. - When using power tools, make sure you know the proper precautions, dont take short cuts. Short cuts lead to deep cuts. Meh, you tell me how I did. |

While pumping gas, ALWAYS shut off your vehicle, and never start pumping and go back into your car. Static electricity can ignite the fuel and flames and cause a major fire. If the fire happens on the pump itself, DO NOT PULL IT OUT. leave it in your gas tank. as stupid as it sounds, it might go out due to no air going in with the flames. Pulling it out would make for more fire, and more damage. Ever heard the expression Cotton kills? It may feel like shit, but wool could save your life, even if you dont feel warm. Wear layers, not just one big coat. Wool socks are a MUST, even if not that comfortable. Always make sure that when you are plugging something expensive in, you are using the right cable/power supply. I havent personally, but many people have ruined laptops, mp3 players, and other things by simply using the wrong Wattage, etc. Dont just grab a DC adapter and plug it in, the right size does not always mean the right power supply. Shut off lights whenever you are not using them. My family cut down our electric bill in half just by shutting things off more then turning things on. For instance, even though the hallway needs light, it doesnt always have to be on. Shut it off. Same with electricity, as much as you can, unplug WHATEVER YOU CAN when you aren't using it. You may feel that it is off, so it's not doing anything. But charge can still go through it, and waste electricity you dont even know you are using, or need. Always keep items such as Ipods, Phones, and laptops charged as much as you can. Making the battery go dead all the time and just charging it back up KILLS the battery. Batteries dont last forever, but doing this KILLS THEM. Have things plugged in as much as you can. Super glue may feel like the strongest glue ever, but the problem with it is it bonds to the surface so much, that it can still come apart. EXCEPT it's not from the glue being strong... it's because the surface was torn from it. Think of it like the frozen bologna on a car... Drinking ounce for ounce ratio between water and beer will not get you drunk. Like said, It's a hydration thing. so drinking a glass of water for every beer will keep you sober. Ever sprayed an aerosol can at a lighter and/or flame? this produces a toxic chemical that can kill you. Do not breath anything in while doing this. Be careful when eating fruits or vegetables... Many of these are grown in foreign countries and territories, making you prone to whatever parasites they might be carrying. WASH EVERYTHING YOU EAT Cook meat MORE then what you think is "okay." It's been proven that even cooking things by standards may not still be enough. When was the last time you heard of someone overdosing from Marijuana or getting cancer from just smoking Marijuana alone? That's what I thought. Computer chairs/anything with screws and bolts often loosen up over time. Regularly screwing them tighter can lengthen material lifespans. and reduce the risk of breaking. Do not blast speakers or headphones even if it doesnt hurt your ears. It still slowly kills your eardrums and by age 40 you will have lost your hearing by 20%. Listen at a reasonable lever that wont harm your senses. |
