I was driving around my hometown when I noticed that one of the streets were blocked off. There were a couple of trailers down the park by our basketball courts. So I'm wondering, what is all of this? I go into school the next day and there are rumors going around our school about a movie that is being directed in our town. Now I'm excited. I can't wait to see who is staring in it and everything. But, best of all, I found out who was directing it and it couldn't be more awesome  Morgan Freeman is the director of the movie, and Homecoming is the movie's name. I have yet to see who the real stars are in the movie, and the only one that I found on IMDB is Matt Long (Ghostrider). It's supposed to take place in a 1930s setting (Which my town fits that appropriately) and involves a murder. They already have a street blocked off and people are staying in hotels. They are looking for more cast members, and my little brother decided to go down there and see if he could meet or at least see Morgan Freeman. I would say it is an honor to have such an awesome guy like Morgan Freeman in my town, filming a movie. I can't wait until it comes out. Even if it's horrible, I am going to see it because my hometown is in it. Lol. Well unfortunately, it's not the Morgan Freeman I was thinking of. It's the one that directed Dawson's Creek. Now it's kind of gay to me. It's just cool there's a movie here now. |
