no you guys dont say it. survivorman is a true Canadian hero. he films all his shit and to make it look real he shows himself taking down his camera sometimes. i dont know if you saw the one were he makes a igloo. he walks about 2 miles just to get a cool shot and then has to go all the way back to get his camera. but you never know. | ||

Wave sad. I had a friend who was crazy for that show. Wanted me and him and like 2 other friends (cha and jimmy) to go out into the wild with just a kinife and a poncho like he did. I'm shocked that you guys think anything on TV is "real". Reality shows couldn't be further away from reality. The network/cable "news" is theater, not journalism. The vast majority of sticoms follow the same format: a handful of white, middle class, 20-30 somethings living and working in or near a large city, who find themselves in unbelievable, yet humorous situations. And just in case you missed one of the bland, middle of the road, mundane jokes, there is a laugh track which tells you something funny happened. Why don't you guys read a book? Right now I am reading a great book called "Lies My Teacher Told Me". It is such an awesome book! i never held the idea that man vs. wild was real. he always had a crew around, and you can tell things were rehearsed. so what? can't fit all the mess-ups in a one hour show, he only wants to show you how it's done. that's fine, i'm not hating. but when compared to survivorman, bear is a pussy. the bar has been set. |
