I deleted WoW completely from my computer. My older brother was in one of the top guilds before the burning crusade, and was in the first guild to fully finish Nax. with all these wondrous accomplishments, he got enveloped into the game so bad, He quit college for a year, sat at home and did nothing all day but buy pets to keep him company, and food that he could eat. He had to see a counselor and take Lithium to dig himself out of that fucking hole. Learn from mistakes, give up the game. The addiction never ends, and constantly sucks you in. P.S. He lives in Albany, NY, and he has a friend (from the guild he was in WoW with), who lives in North Carolina who also lost his life to WoW, so his parents kicked him out and he is now living with my brother. crazy, huh? |

I think it's completly rediculous that you are all aginst wow to completly, when most of you have never even played it. Just because you've heard about people gettin rediculously addicted to it, does NOT mean it will happen to everyone, and to the same extent. The same thing has happened with every major game out there, including CSS. Perhaps you should hold your opinions of the game off until you actually try it. I'll admit, I use to be like many, I refused to play it cause of the monthly cost and people getting addicted, but eventually I tried it and now I play it regularlly. It can be an addicting game at times, but you only get addicted to it IF YOU LET YOURSELF. If you REALLY don't want to get addicted, than you won't. >JL |

but the problem is, I DID play it, and even I became addicted to it. Buki - Lvl 46 Troll Rogue - Skinner/miner. I was fucking boss in that game. But when I realized what my brother was going through, and how lousy it made me do in school, I had to give it up. Notice I said I deleted it completely from my computer** Im not trying to change anyones opinions, im just saying learn from the mistakes MILLIONS OF PEOPLE HAVE MADE, including the example of my brother. Blizzard turned into pieces of shit who charge outrageous ammounts for a game that you get NOTHING OUT OF. And to put it simply: WoW is fucking gay, lol. I mean, come on, you have like 2 billion people who their main objective is to get "pink" and"purple" and "light blue" items. ROFL. GTFO |

My brother and his girlfriend were the Guildmasters of the one clan, Voltron, back when raiding was really getting popular. they did Blackwing layer, Onyxia, and Moltencore mixed up, doing one a night. Then for like two nights out of the week, they tried the... idk what its called... but its was sort of "egyptian". Ahn Jihad or something, iono. But after a while he had troubles with the entire guild, and he was demoted from GM(girlfriend's choice, quite funny) and he went to this other one that was doing much better, and was the first guild to finish Nax before the expansion. I forget the name, but it was short, like 5 letters long. Nothing is ringing a bell, sorry dude. But Voltron was his main guild. And before that, he was VERY high up in The Knights Who Say Ni | ||
