maturity isn't aquired over night....someone who is immature at age 17....and turns 18...isn't all the sudden gonna totally change and start being more mature. | ||

I know his family and he knows mine. 8yrs i have known him. He gets to High School and thinks smoking is cool. Oh well so did we all. Granted im not a smoker but holding a cig sometimes makes me feel fit in with a certain crowd. Anywayz, after smoking he tries smoking other things. He moves to weed. Ok he tries it a few times. Then he hangs out with the wrong ppl and smokes some more. Then he says wat the hell let me try different weed. After that he moves to shrooms. then he tries cocaine. Then off to the pills. One night he popped so much Zanex and Tylenol pills that he almost died. This is over a course of about 4 years. He is now 19 yrs old.. no job. not in college. and lives with his parents in their apartment. He steals money from them to buy more weed and pills eveyr now and then. The moral of this story is... it CAN happen before u even realize it. If this is the life you want to lead then be my guest. GL with it. its very rewarding. Just dont post it on here. like i said earlier. Grow up. |

Where's a Sociology graduate when you need one?  The discussion in this thread and the "gayness has got to stop" thread seem to go well beyond the original topics. I suggest we find a central theme (and thread) in which to discuss these issues.

You sound like my health teacher... in response to the statement "if this is the life you want to lead then be my guest" --Not all people who smoke weed will go into a huge chain of events that leads to them doing other drugs... I know you know this, but that sentence made it seem like you were trying to imply that. I've heard your story many times though so I'm not going to discredit it... |

Im not gonna lie i am immature, im 16 so therefore im gonna say and do stupid things, have the time i create these stupid threads because im bored and have nothing better to do. And the thing is no matter how stupid the topic is every single one of the threads i create brings in at least 20-25 replies, so i must not be the only immature person on this server. And like you said if i create these things to make myself feel macho then how is that any different then say a 24 whoring a kid when hes discussing the topic of maturity. I believe it was you fetus who once said that "whoring someone over the internet is like winning the special olympics, sure you might win but you still come out being a retard" Thats all i have to add, but honestly i really dont take anything you say to heart, any of you so its all good.
