Don't knock the formula! It works fine! Also what's a world renounced scientist? One who gave up science and let the world know about it? MY theory is... all civilizations started ROUGHLY around the same time, (give or take a million years) and that eventually... we will all develop the ability to travel/communicate with each other. But using our own civilization as a benchmark... we (and thusly them) are a ways off... |

So, in a universe 15 Billion years old, you think everyone started within a million years of eachother? Damn thats a small timeframe. The formula is perfect, our values however cant be perfect by definition (until we have data) These are just equations, and estimates. |

wrap your brains around this, you little kommies. if indeed this formula works, then it would be worthless anyway because space is 'unlimited' and there would be an unlimited amount of intelligent life forms all over the place. there would literally be more alien species then people on this planet. think about it. 0.0000008xinfinity = 0.0000008infinity. which is still infinity. |

Joker space is not unlimited. The universe is a finite size. Currently expanding... but slowing down. Like inflating a balloon full of dust with the dust being galaxies... the balloon may be getting bigger... but it has a finite size. | ||
