Recently my fav mouse broke nd i was very pissed off. though my best 1 broke i was able to get a new one. my new mouse was and is the razor copperhead. i noticed from this mouse that my performance gratly increased. so my question(s) are. Do you think different mice effect ur skill level? and what kinds of mouses do u prefer (so i no wat 1s to get when this 1 breaks, but it really shouldnt since its about a month old.......hopefully). | ||

yes they do affect your skill. i had a wimpy old regular mouse with the ball in it when i first started playin cs, then i bought a optical, which sucked even worse. then last year i came along the logitech mx1000 laser mouse and i absolutely love it. | ||

i had a logitech optical mouse nd it was horrible. i still would prefer my standard ball mouse than the lagitech 1. |

i hate ball mice you have to clean em out every week and you cant get the damn fuzzies out. with my lazer just clean the little hole with a qtip every once in a while and your good. |

not my mouse. i think it got cleaned from me banging on it when i did bad.......... then again that could be the reason y it broke... GOD DAMN IT -_-! | ||

I don't know personally I use a standard ball mouse, I have been meaning to get a new better one for a long time but when you are broke it is kinda hard to buy stuff...But yea I think that different mice could have an impact and influence on a person's play especially with like ball mice since they can get gummed up and you have to constantly clean them...but in the end I really think that it isn't so much about your equipment as it is the person...for example there are all these people out there who go out and spend thousands of dollars on new "better" golf clubs but they never really learn how to use what they have and they still suck at life no matter what clubs they use...so i suggest just use whatever you want and get used to it and learn how to use it | ||

i got the logitech g5 and lemme say if your a FPS style gamer this mouse if 4 u! adjustable weights really help (more than you think they would) | ||

logitech G7 FTW I personnaly liked small mice, but I took a chance and got a (what I thought was huge at the time) G7. Definately made a difference in my gameplay (no more strange "jumps" from one side of the screen to the other because of poor dpi). I love the sensativity buttons that let you switch from ultra sensetive for machine gunning/rushing; to slower movements for sniping. Also the side scrolling wheel is a must if you do a lot of work in excell like me. Logitech just makes solid shit, and their tech support is awesome (if you have any poblems at all, they send you a new mouse for free, no questions asked [probably cause it only costs them $6 to make it]). Plus it comes with two rechargable battery's so you never have to quit using it every time the battery dies. The only thing I don't like about this mouse is the battery life is a little short, but you got 2 of em, so it really isn't a problem. Also, the plastic shell on the mouse needs to be cleaned a lot if you get sweaty palms at tense battles like me, I think if they used a rubberized coating instead, it would be better.
