15 years of Fish Tank - November 5, 2020

November 5th 2020 will be 15 years for fish tank. I am going to come to the website to post a grats to all of us that day in the chatbox. I invite you all to join me:
Nov 5 2020.I am glad to be able to say hi here again. I am doing web development now. I am down in Florida and it is hot here.
I still play video games in my free time. Now more into Rimworld, Kerbal Space Program, and maybe a few strategy games like Sins of a Solar Empire. I like games I can pause which is such a different playstyle than all of us were used to 10 years ago. I don't like Souls-like or round based stuff anymore. I do play CSS every few years for a few hours.
Keep it real folks. Love you guys.

Krem! Love that you are keeping this site going. I can't believe so many of us still come around despite us being like twice the age we were when we first came here (well not everyone...definitely me though). Really shows what kind of impact this community had on people.
I finally got back into PC gaming about 4 months ago and built my new PC...the first in over 10 years. RGB everywhere these days holy shit. I dont even have HDD's as backup! SSD storage has gotten so damn cheap nowadays.
And it's funny you mention a change in games. Im quite the opposite. I fell in love with Souls games (Soulsborne genre). Something about getting your ass kicked over and over again and then overcoming it really gives me a rush. Also...still playing FPS's. Not so much CS these days but a lot of CoD Warzone. Reflexes arent what they used to be but still not too shabby considering!
Hope all is well. And yea, Florida is HOT. I went from NY to SC just 6 months ago....and the summers here are as long as the NY winters...lol. Florida is summer 48 weeks of the year. Ill see ya in November.

The site looks great, Krem. Its weird always coming back here every few months and seeing who's around.
This place always holds a big piece of my heart. Some of the best gaming I have ever done was with all of the guys that used to call this home. Office, Surfing, Zombies. So many fond memories. So many names I still remember and miss.
Still playing FPS. Nowadays its R6:Siege more than anything. But still have a lot of the old names on steam. My gamertag has never changed, if anyone wants to add me its pretty much Justin82954 with whatever email or account name. Hope all is well with everyone, Cheers.

I'm still in Cincinnati. Finished my writing degree and have been working in bars. Currently working at a large brewery here. It's nice, I've got a good life with my long term girlfriend and our hound dog River. Looking for a house this spring.
Hoping everyone except amish is safe during the pandemic. Love you all

Keeping this short;
I remember getting my teenage hands on Half-Life 2, which was the gateway to CSS and, thus, to 24/7 office and finally, Fish Tank Clan. No online group of gamers had the same dynamics and culture seen here. Miss you all, and I miss what gaming was those years ago. I don't know if I will ever be able to let go of the memories and unrealistic hope that FTC’s dynamics will be revived or found elsewhere.
I miss the universe we all created and nurtured here. The community we all contributed to was the best game focused group I've ever been a part of. The world [of gaming] has drifted from the values we had here. And we, too, have all grown and changed. I would like to believe it was more gaming that changed rather than us! The community here, as a whole, was based on a value system pre-microtransaction and skin betting. When CSS was current, we never had a problem with holding onto regular members. There were times of low server population but not in any prolonged trends.
I long for more FPS, RPG, and simple shooters that can emulate the FTC experience. A primordial stew that can stimulate another glorious community. Hopes for the new CoD (as the hope is every year) or Cyberpunk (albeit, singleplayer) to fill that hole in my gaming life. I Still can be reached on steam: rock5tar.

I just logged in for the first time in a while. Nice to see that the site is still up. I put FT on my warzone clan tag for old times sake.

Hey all! Miss you and it's been so long I barely remember who we are, we should all get on discord sometime and chat! Thanks for keeping this site alive, I'd be sad to get a 404 error that's for sure.
I run a chill Rust server if anyone plays!

I can't figure out the credentials to my main account, so I guess I'm gonna have to roll with the OG from now on huh?
Hope everyone is doing well. I've been thinking about this place a lot lately, mostly about Glitch and all the times he said to invest in Bitcoin. That is one of my biggest regrets in life. I hope you've held and hit it big, man!
I hardly have time for gaming these days, but I've been playing a bit of Kerbal lately. Most of my free time is spent contributing to fantasy sites Pitcher List and QB List, where I'm the head of our Nastiest Pitches and What We Saw teams, respectively. We have a rapidly growing Discord community of 700+ staff and subscribers that is as close to Fish Tank as I think I'll ever get. This isn't an ad but if you're into either baseball or football, check out the sites. We put out some really amazing content on the reg.
A lot of my memories from this place are very cringeworthy. I was an immature kid who was given far too much power over a group of internet strangers at a young age. I still had a ton of fun and I know y'all did too.
Stay safe out there.

I do a lot these days. Big update but I'll keep it short:
I'm a cloud engineer for a pharmaceutical company. I have two kids, separated from their mom but have a good gal now (we get it Nostie, you have a girlfriend!)
Games I play are Valheim, Rust, Rocket League, CS:GO, COD Cold War (mostly zombies.)
I just upgraded my rig recently, but can't get a graphics card to complete the build thanks to scalping pieces of shit.
I also fired up CS:S for the first time in years about two weeks ago, joined a server, said I miss playing with drunk 40 year olds, and got permanently banned from the server immediately. So hey! Further reaffirms that our community didn't suck ass, and that some people don't deserve power because they don't know how to use it.
Either way, I miss all of you. We should get together and take over some abandoned office server to play for a few hours. CS:GO just doesn't have the same get piss drunk and have dumb conversation vibe that CS:S had with alltalk servers.

Wow I can't believe this site is still up, and I can't believe my credentials are still valid. Thanks for keeping this piece of our history alive, Kremit. You all might not remember me because I was pretty young when I joined back in 06-07, but I'll never forget you all.
If anyone wants to play some games in their free time, I'm Meatshower on Steam and Discord.
Miss you all.

My time is free to all who read this.
Im a big fan of Corsair keyboards. I am currently using a Corsair K70 MK.2 White Edition. Can be had for around $140 or so. Not amazing for typing on as the speed switches can cause frequent miss types if you are too fast (until you get really used to them). But for gaming they are great.
