Flac Files

So I am not smarter than .flac files, but I am smart enough to not pay for music.

I need to convert a couple albums from .flac to something that iTunes can use, because Apple has purchased my serfdom. I'm desperately attached to my iPod because it's the only thing that gets me through 7 hours of work every day.

I've downloaded 3 separate conversion softwares, including VLC, WinAVI all-in-one, and some random one. None of them are able to convert the files. They turn them into empty mp3 layer files or some shit, and they are 0 second tracks when I put them in my iTunes library. If iTunes had any integrity, they'd just find a way to allow me to listen to lossless file types because I actually appreciate quality of music, but that's just wishful thinking. Fuck Apple. I wish I could just find a decent technology to play podcasts and music on that wasn't from Apple. I don't use my phone because of the amount of space that 13 podcasts takes up, etc.

The only software that has worked in the past was constantly changing my browser, home page, adding tool bars and such, and I hate that sketchy bullshit.

You're all smart. Help me. What can I do to convert this shit to a file that I can upload onto my iPod?

VLC can convert files, you must not have looked hard enough in there.

+1 on dbPoweramp. The multi-core conversion is really fucking cool. I have the 8-core so it codes 8 songs at once.
And I think it only converts 1 cd at a time the way the lord intended.

If u want a challenge try burning .flac to a cd -[link]-

BTW my entire music collection is above 1000 kbps. Das a lot of sin waves

First one will only convert 50% of the individual songs unless I register it.

Boo.
