Oh I'm so down. I still play zombie escape sometimes on CS:S. Never gets old. So down for Office.

Also 15 years for me. Fuck man we are getting old as shit.

Also, loving Back 4 Blood. Highly recommend to everyone who enjoys coop zombie action. I play on steam. gLiTch handle was retired with FT. You can find me as theRemedy on Steam friends.

Super down for a rerun. I think we all have some old connections to plan something ahead of time, on an updated game, or even outdated, for all of us to do an event on. I would look forward to that very much

 I just installed a new vid card last night,well actually yesterday, and it was a major pain in the ass. I've changed them many times but this install was doomed to begin with because of Microsoft .net Framework. Anyways I ended up having to reinstall Windows and got it working.
so last night i'm playing CSS and it works great, today though I can't even get Hl2 to even start. I'm not getting any errors or anything it just says "preparing to launch then closes..Any ideas?

 This doesnt sound like a video card problem, but a few recommendations:

1) Reinstall drivers for vid card
2) Reinstall CS
3) Re-re-install windows
4) Buy an Nvidia


IF your problem is the video card, you can try setting CS resolution to your desktop resolution. You would need to go to steam > my games > right click CSS > properties. In the new window, find launch options, and enter "-w 1024 -h 768" (or your resolution)

 Yea its an ATI 9500 series. I just finished a full steam reinstall.I also forgot to mention that i was updating Dark Messiah last night. I'm so tired of bying a game only to have to dload 7gigs after i bring it home.

 Is there another card you could try? If you have another ATI card and that one works ok its probably a good sign your new card is D.O.A. The fact that you were playing last night and now you cant after a clean install kinda has me stumped. I'll see what I can dig up about your particular problem

 i'm pretty sure its not the card. I start CSS or HL2 and i get... preparing to launch... when the bar gets about 3/4 of they way it disapears and poof...NOTHING!

I'm going to by the next FPS to come out thats not affiliated with Valve or steam and I'm switching. The people at steam have thier head up thier asses so far they don't even read or respond to thier own forums.

 I have that problem on my other computer. When I try and start up CSS, or any other game, it does not work. I do not know the reason for this at all, and I have done almost everything to fix it. When I went out and bought my 7600, I had no problems with Steam at all. When I got this other computer, I took its old card out, put my old card that was in this computer in it, and alas! The fucking games did not work. I dont know what the problem is with it, but once your rant gets replied within the next month by Steam's lazy fucking bunch of idiots, you can let me know. I dont know either, and I hate steam. Thats all I can tell you.

Oh btw, <3 7600 GS OC. No problems cheesey
