Super down for a rerun. I think we all have some old connections to plan something ahead of time, on an updated game, or even outdated, for all of us to do an event on. I would look forward to that very much

Don't see much of a benefit to OCing, I prefer stock personally. |

If you have proper cooling OCing wont shorten it much. I guess it depends on the hardware you're running aswell. If you're running some crap abit hardware it'll die within a year or two but my Asus board with my FX-55 has been running OC'd for almost 10 years now. still going strong in my media server. My fathers 3800 x2 has been running 2.8ghz for 6 years now, stock is 2.0 and it runs nice and cool with zero crashs. My hardware teacher said the same thing until we started discussing the differences in manufacturing between OEM(Dell, HP, etc) and proper quality motherboards such as Gigabyte and Asus. Motherboard and PSU are the most important parts of an OC'd rig, if you dont know what you're doing then yeah it'll die quickly but a properly configured rig shouldnt have any stability issues. PS: Actually now that i think of it a friend of mine is still running a Dual Opteron setup OC'd to 2.9ghz, now its his home server(media and files) and if I recall he built that in 2002. |

Yeah I suppose it's a comfort factor for people, to each their own. I buy on an extreme budget, so I like to squeeze all the performance I can out of my silicon. I'm running an amd x4 stock 3.0 unlocked to x6 pushed to 3.8 ghz right now. My temps are about 40C while I was pen testing phate's media center. |

No luck I'm guessing since I havent seen anything anomalous. Tip, Netbios is disabled, most ports aswell. My current E4700 I'm running is running at 3.2ghz quite stable for the moment 40c currently. |
