| K so I downloaded BitTorrent..now how do I find the shit I want to DL? | ||

I'm not accustom to programs like this, the last thing I used before BitTorrent was Limewire where you can just search for what you want using Limewire. But fuck that, I want to learn this BitTorrent shit since everyone uses it now. Let's say I want a bittorent of the album Ludacris - Theater of the Mind. I can't just open a search bar in BitTorrent and type in the album and pick a download source, correct? So how would I go about doing this? I really want to use it for songs that ended up being unreleased or cut from albums, so don't bother trying to criticize me for stealing. i need halp |

if you're not using vista, go download peer guardian 2 and just run that everytime you're downloading a torrent. if you are using vista, you're shit out of luck on that -[link]- what that is is a program that autoblocks big companies and labels and governments like microsoft, riaa, etc that potentially release troll torrents to catch people. other than that i mean just go to big torrent search engines like isohunt, pirate bay, or if you can get into private trackers like demonoid you can search there too. After you search what you want, read a couple comments if you can make sure theres nothing big like "THIS IS A VIRUS ETC ETC" over and over again, dl the torrent, run peer guardian, and open the torrent with whatever program you have (i use utorrent) and you're good to go. If you use a private tracker make sure you keep your ratio around 1.00 and thats about it. |

I like utorrent, but I don't have experience with anything else. I like that utorrent allows encryption which helped my download speed when I was in college. thepiratebay.org and demonoid.com are the only websites I use |
